Our gallery has a maximum limit of 36 member-artists, and we are always interested in meeting with potential new members. Members hang five or six paintings in each of six annual shows as well as several small paintings and unframed original “bin” art.
There are at least two openings per show in addition to a strong and sustained marketing effort by our marketing committee and our sales team.
In addition to a monthly membership fee (“rent”), the gallery collects 20-to-25% commission on sales (depending on the type of membership a member holds). There are some modest work expectations, and additional benefits to members (such as opportunities to teach and to take classes or attend workshops at reduced cost).
